I first read about architect Adrian Smith after researching the skyscraper Burj Dubai. After reading more about him he has been in the design business for over 30 years, has worked internationally in many different countries and is known for his towering skyscrapers. He has wrote books, won over 90 design awards and is a person to look up to and admire for all his hard work and achievements.

Graphic/Media Design

The good ole' graphic that we secretly look for on the back of every card we receive...we have been taught that this logo means quality and I think is effective because of that. I like the text also and it's simple design.

Just this simple red Target symbol has really helped Target stores advertise. This symbol is even used in their commercials and I think is very effective as a logo. Simple design sometimes is the way to go.

Maybe not so much up here but everyone from back home in FL knows what this graphic is! Obviously, with the orange and blue and the gator we can see it's the FL Gator logo....GO GATORS!!

We all know this graphic!! It is printed on everything from tee shirts, to pens, to notebooks. It displays our school colors yellow and blue and also has a spartan....GO SPARTANS!

Oh the golden arches, we've known what they meant since happy meal time and we'll never forget what they stand for. McDonald's has always used this graphic to advertise for their food.
There are some graphics that we will always recognize, such as the cows that advertise for Chick-fil-a, what a great way to promote chicken products. I like the cow idea as well as the little chicken graphic around the C in their logo, it looks like a lot of thought went into the design!
